Op-Ed by Bethany Barnard: Why Proposition No. 1 is an Investment in Our Community’s Health
At Pacific County Voices Uniting (PCVU), we believe that healthy communities start with strong, accessible healthcare. That’s why we’re thrilled to share an op-ed written by our Executive Director, Bethany Barnard, published in the Willapa Herald. In this piece, Bethany explains why Proposition No. 1 is so crucial to the future of healthcare in Pacific County.

Opinion: Proposition No. 1 is an Investment in Our Community’s Future Health
"This is about more than just bricks and mortar—it’s about ensuring our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have access to the same, if not better, healthcare we had. This is an investment in our future generations, just as those who came before us invested in our healthcare.
We have the chance to make a lasting impact on the health of our community—ensuring that we continue to have access to care for generations to come.”
